Looking for traditional holidays in Lapland? This trip goes off the beaten track in Levi, Pallas and Yllas – all packed with authentic Lappish atmosphere. Stay in and snuggle up by the fire, or try out activities like ice-fishing or snowmobiling.

If you haven’t already guessed by the name, cinematic views are what this place majors in. Everything from the restaurants to the seventh-floor saunas look out over the snow-dusted landscape.

The property is wedged into the white stuff on the side of a fell that leads down to Levi – a ski lift connects you to the village. Its slope-side position puts you in touching distance of Finland’s top ski and snowboard runs.

Holidays here come with our 24/7 Online and Hotel Rep Service.

Rooms here come with free Wi-Fi, shower and an LCD TV. Twin rooms offer space for three adults or two adults and two children, while superior twin rooms are more spacious. Junior suites come with a lounge area and a bath with overhead shower, or a private sauna and walk-in shower. Suites have a bedroom with twin beds, and a separate lounge with an extra bed for one adult or two children.

There’s a trio of restaurants that all offer up dining with a side-order of snowy views. You’ve got a buffet place, and a couple of à la cartes* that serve Lappish specialities, like reindeer stew.

  • Restaurant Vetta
Open for breakfast, the restaurant Vetta serves up a range of à la carte dishes with a Lappish twist.
  • Restaurant Okta
    Serving buffet breakfast and dinner.
  • Christmas Eve gala meal
  • Vetta bar*

Step outside the front doors, and you’ll find yourself at the peak of Levi’s world-renowned ski slopes. Head back indoors, and you can warm up in the panoramic-view saunas, while children mess around in a soft-play zone.

  • Sauna*
The sauna is up on the seventh floor.

This Lapland ski resort – in Finland’s northern fells – might be remote, but it certainly isn’t quiet. It’s one of Finland’s top places for skiing and snowboarding for a start, and the buzz continues off-piste in the bars and restaurants. There are also snowmobile safaris, reindeer rides, visits to Father Christmas – and a chance to see the Northern Lights.
