This place is in a picturesque part of town, snuggled up to the shores of Lake Ounasjärvi. It’s right in the heart of Lapland’s snow-dusted wilderness, so it’s a popular base for hikers and skiers.
Inside, things are just as Lappish – you’ll be met by a crackling fire in the lobby, and the restaurant puts traditional fare on the menu. An indoor pool and Finnish sauna are also part of the scene.
This hotel comes with a SnowClub, where children can get involved with entertainment and activities. You can join the SnowClub entertainment team and our mascot Captain T for indoor and outdoor activities. Like snowdog-building and tobogganing, snowgolf and marshmallow toasting. There's lots of entertainment, too, like pantomimes and festive-themed parties.
Twin rooms and suites are in the main building of the hotel, meanwhile bungalows are in separate buildings. 1 bedroom bungalows have 2 extra beds in the lounge, or 2 bedroom bungalows come with 2 twin bedrooms, plus 1 double sofa-bed in the lounge. Suites feature a kitchenette, twin beds, 1 extra bed in the bedroom, plus a sauna. And lastly, twin rooms can occupy 1-2 guests or 1-3 guests.
As you’d expect, you won’t find an outdoor pool here. Instead, it’s tucked away inside, along with a Finnish sauna to warm up in.

When you've had enough exploring for the day, take a swim in the indoor pool.
The hotel’s restaurant serves up a mix of international favourites and Lappish specialities, so you can try the likes of reindeer and arctic char. Make sure to grab a window seat for the wide-open lake views.

Enjoy panoramic views over the lake from the big windows at the main restaurant. They serve a range of international cuisine, as well as traditional Lappish cuisine.

Head to the lobby bar for relaxing drinks after a busy day out.
SnowClub
This is one of our SnowClub properties, which means Captain T will be on hand for plenty of festive fun. He’ll entertain little ones with activities like snowdog-building, Christmas-themed storytelling and arts and crafts. Plus, he’ll be hosting special festive parties and sing-alongs. Family-friendly quizzes and games are part of the line-up, too.
