You’ll find the Glass Resort tucked away in thick forest in Rovaniemi. It’s open from September to April, when you’ve got the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights.

The resort’s made up of 24 teepee-shaped apartments, each boasting its own private sauna and hot tub, plus a kitchenette for home-cooking. Every apartment is made of glass to show off panoramic views of the dramatic landscape.
There’s fresh Lappish food on the menu in the restaurant – think reindeer, fresh vegetables and local berries. If you’re visiting around Christmas time, there’s Santa Claus Village nearby.
Duplex 1 bedroom apartments each have a hot tub and sauna. An apartment covers two floors and comes with a double bed or twin beds, plus 1 double sofa-bed in the downstairs lounge area. The kitchenette has a sink, microwave and hob, plus tea or coffee-making facilities as well as plenty of cupboard space. There's a shower, a TV, a rug, a small table and chairs set, plus Wi-Fi access, too.
The Glass Resort Restaurant menu features all-Finnish cuisine. Dishes features ingredients like reindeer meat from the country's Muonio region, fresh fish caught in Lake Miekojarvi, and wild berries picked in local forests.

This 60-seater restaurant offers a breakfast buffet, plus a dinner menu between 6pm and 9pm. Its evening menu lists reindeer, game including willow grouse, plus fish and vegetables.

You’ve got your pick of activities*. The resort hosts a regular hunt for the Northern Lights* as well as landscape photography tours*. You can also book tickets for the nearby Santa Claus Village.
